How Virtual Patrols Work:
- Camera Surveillance: We supply and install strategically placed CCTV cameras, including fixed and PTZ (pan-tilt-zoom) cameras, to capture real-time footage of a monitored area. - Data Transmission: The cameras are connected to the secWatch Security Operations Centre (SOC) through a network, typically the internet. This seamless connection enables operators to receive live video feeds and real-time data, facilitating prompt monitoring and response.
- Security Operations Centre (SOC): Trained operators stationed at the SOC monitor the live video feeds on a scheduled basis. Each camera feed is systematically reviewed to detect any signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
- Remote Intervention: Upon detecting unauthorised individuals, SOC operators issue audio warnings through onsite speakers, notifying intruders that they are in a secure area and must vacate immediately. If intruders fail to comply, authorities are promptly notified for further action.
- Verification Process: Authorised personnel on-site can contact the SOC for verification, ensuring seamless access and preventing unnecessary interventions.
- Data Storage and Analysis: Recorded video footage is securely stored for future reference and analysis. In the event of an incident, clients receive a copy of the incident video for review and analysis, promoting transparency and accountability.
