At secVision Networks, we love it when a plan comes together – especially when that plan involves cross-border teamwork, innovative engineering, and cutting-edge security technology.
Recently, our team successfully supplied, installed, and activated a comprehensive secWatch CCTV system for our valued client, Hi-Quality. The new system protects their site in Bulla, Victoria. This project proved that teamwork truly makes the dream work.
Engineering the Solution from Sydney
The cameras are now live in Victoria, but the heavy lifting started in our Sydney office. Managing this project remotely required precision planning. It also demanded seemless coordination between our teams.
Our Workshop Manager led the custom build. He ensured the hardware was rugged, reliable, and ready for the field. His work included:
- Building & Configuring the MCUs: He built the Mobile Camera Units from scratch, configured them, and brought them online.
- Connectivity Prep: He fitted high-gain antennas and installed the client SIM cards to guarantee uninterrupted data transmission.
- Custom Fabrication: He designed steel solar brackets. These brackets made the physical installation much easier for our field team.
Boots on the Ground in Victoria
Next, we deployed the solar-powered, pole-mounted units. Our skilled Electronics Technician travelled from Sydney to the Bulla site in Victoria. He handled the physical installation.
Thanks to the smart bracket design and meticulous prep work, he erected the poles and solar arrays without a hitch.
The installation is complete, but our job is just beginning.
24/7 Protection via our SOC
The installation is complete, but our work continues. Our Security Operations Centre (SOC) now monitors the Bulla site. From this hub, our Virtual Guards provide around-the-clock surveillance. They watch the site in real-time to protect Hi-Quality’s assets.
