Kim Warwick Tennis Academy chose secCloud for Court Hire access control.
Kim Warwick Tennis Academy operate 13 courts across 2 sites in Hornsby and Waitara. They have courts available to hire 7 days a week, both day and night. They wanted to run an online booking system so their customers could book and pay for the hire of a tennis court, and get automatic access.
The Solution
secCloud access control is a cloud based system which integrates with their booking software, Sport Logic. We installed hardware on the court gates and then set up the software so customers can simply log on to www.kwta.com.au and follow the prompts to Book A Court. When a customer books online they receive an access code and the court lights are turned on for their hire time. It’s a simple booking process for the Tennis Player and they feel secure arriving to a well lit court. Plus it saves Kim Warwick staff from having to open and close courts late at night.
The Installation Process
To prepare the site, firstly we conducted a site survey to determine what hardware would best suit the site. We then managed the supply and installation of power and put an enclosure over the top of the GPO so it couldn’t be tampered with. We ran cables from the enclosure inside the top post of the tennis court fence and around to each gate. We then had our Technicians install a tennis gate latch system and key pad. Our Technicians also installed a lockable enclosure next to new power location to control the lights.
secCloud is software as a service, so software training for the KWTA team was the final step and they can now manage the system, from anywhere. The keyless entry has simplified the booking process for the hiring of the tennis courts.
