Duktag and secCloud Software Integration

Ryan McGovern was in Melbourne last month exhibiting at the National Sports Convention. Working alongside Duktag, he got to show potential clients, particularly Local Councils, how secCloud integrates with Duktag to provide an online booking system for tennis courts and other sport facilities.

Duktag is a comprehensive Council Facilities and Sports Organisation management platform – a cloud software that provides seamless integration with secCloud access control. It is easy to use, reliable, secure, and cost effective. Designed by Simon Goldschmidt, John Curtis and Anthony Bennett, they have used their Facilities Management experience to create a real solution for the end user.

By integrating with the secCloud access control system, people can hire a venue and gain access with a security code, all booked online without the need for council workers to go to site, or users to travel to collect and return keys. With this integration, the whole booking system becomes automated. For example:

  • the end user goes to a council website, books a tennis court & pays (using Duktag),
  • the booking information is sent to secCloud automatically,
  • the user is sent an SMS with the PIN number for the booking,
  • the user goes to the tennis court and enters the PIN number at the time of the booking and gains entry.

Control access to tennis courts, buildings, meeting rooms.

  • We currently do access control for bookings for community centres, meeting rooms, band halls, gyms, senior citizens clubs & tennis courts.
  • We do intruder detection for libraries, child care centres and council depots.
  • We do access control for parks & gardens for toilets and sports store rooms.
  • We offer a turn key solution that is flexible.

The core of the system is the secCloud controller. This can control 2 x doors and 8 x alarm zones. From there we scale the system to suit the venues requirements. If the venue has a system currently then we replace the existing system with the secCloud controller. This enables you to keep the existing cabling to doors and alarm zones. We supply and install a 4G modem as part of the installation to get the system online to the secCloud customer portal.

Where your venue does not have access control we normally install the controller in a secure room then run cables out to each door that requires access control. We install a vandal resistant PIN keypad and a monitored electric strike at the door. We programme the venue back to secCloud so you can login from any internet browser or smart phone to control the system.
