SecVision Networks welcomes Bayside Council to the secCloud platform.
This Local Council has a newly developed tennis court complex in Barton Park. secCloud access control has been installed on the gates of their 4 tennis courts. secCloud is a complete commercial security management solution. This is an enterprise grade Access Control and Alarm System using encrypted data to communicate, which ensures data security in the cloud.
Software Integration:
Our software integrates with the councils booking software, Bookable, so the complex is able to operate a fully automated system. Tennis players go on the council website and book a court. secCloud issues an access code to the player. This code is valid for their hire period. They enter the code at the court gate, and the gate opens.
- The council uses Bookable software to manage online bookings of the tennis court.
- Lighting control integration has been added so all court lights can be automatically turned on for court hire periods.
Hardware Installation:
The secCloud managed security system was designed and built in our Warehouse, then our Electronic Technicians completed the installation of the following hardware:
- vandal resistant keypads on each gate
- access control on the gates of each tennis court
- a secCloud controller secure panel and 4G modem in a lockable enclosure
- A locksmith technician from our partner, Independent Locksmiths & Security, installed lock gate hardware
The additional security hardware we fitted recedes into the gate. When the court access control and lighting is integrated with the booking system it delivers a superior solution for facility managers and players.
The result:
The final step after installation and webservice software integration with Bookable, was secCloud software training which we provided to the system Administrator at the Council. The portal is easy to operate and takes the complexity out of operating your security system. The Administrator can easily add users, run reports, turn on alarms, and turn off lights.
Bayside Council can now manage their access control system from any internet connected web browser or smartphone. As secCloud is cloud based, they don’t have to worry about any server issues and server/software updates.
secCloud is built on enterprise grade hardware so the system can be scaled to work across multiple locations. Bayside Council will be able to bring other sites under the one security platform, with the ability to manage all sites remotely.
