It’s a wrap! After months of planning we releaved a new trade show stand at the Total Facilities trade show last month. The show was held over two days at the new ICC in Sydney’s Darling Harbour. What a state-of-the-art venue for Sydney! The show provided a perfect opportunity to launch Security Vision Networks to the Facilities Management market.
Security Vision Networks is the security division of Independent Locksmiths & Security. We are a managed service provider, specialising in security and IP networks. We provide our clients with security systems tailored to their specific needs. After providing electronic security systems to the business community for the past 15 years we decided to form a separate company and brand to communicate our passion for security systems on IP networks.
Over this time we have designed, installed, monitored and maintained security systems for government, industrial and commercial markets. We were early adopters of deploying security systems on an IP network. We have a passion for automation, machine to machine (M2M) communication and the Internet of Things (IoT). We have travelled the world to understand global trends in security and have developed a suite of products that are at the leading edge of technology.
Having the opportunity to meet with Building Managers and Facility Managers, we got to showcase live the services we offer. Of particular interest to this market was secCloud, our managed security system. secCloud combines access control, building automation and intruder detection that FM’s can operate from anywhere, at anytime as long as they are online. This flexibility is a real game changer as security managers often look after several buildings across town. No longer do they need to drive to the site to check why an alarm has gone off. They simply log-in to the secCloud software and see who has tried to access a door or gate. Lights and air conditioning can also be turned on or off remotely, and boom gates opened so deliveries can be made.
The other service we knew delegates would be interested in was our high definition CCTV system, secWatch. This integrates well with secCloud as CCTV footage is streamed live over a 4G network to any device, anywhere.
